SO/LO a project by Erich Martino of music informed by current global events and the relationship and impact of society, technology and progress on planet earth.

The album was developed as a reaction to the events we all were experiencing during lockdown and the consequences that our living standards have on the environment. The narrative in the music and texts from Adam Greenfield was enriched by the visual collaborations of the design of Hugh Miller and the photography of Andrew Hobbs.

‘At the End of the World, Plant a Tree’ by [SO/LO] is a project inspired in the California wildfires of 2020 and the book with the same title by Adam Greenfield.

The title “at the end of the world, plant a tree” some lines of the text and the voice of Adam Greenfield reading them in the tracks are taken from his pamphlet with the same name published in September 2020 and are used with kind permission and agreement from the author.
