A Shifting Arts Release proudly presents the first Ep from SO/LO, music inspired by current global events and the relationship and impact of society, technology and progress on planet Earth. These are two progressive soundscapes inspired on equal manner by classic electronic masters like Jean Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze or Can and contemporary artists like Lisa Bella Donna or Pye Corner Audio

Both titles 'A Glimpse Of The Future' and 'Holocene' refer to the context of living during the pandemic and all the natural disasters happening around the world using an almost ritualistic mechanical progression inspired on the krautrock sound of the 70's

The sound is created using many layers of live improvisation with Moog, Oberheim and Teenage Engineering instruments, mastering was done in the US by Harold LaRue

The EP/01 by SO/LO opens the path for a full album to be released in the next months by A Shifting Arts Release (SHARE) fully inspired by the devastating wildfires and the following orange skies experienced in California during 2020. The project will include visual collaborations and pieces with designer Hugh Miller and photographer Andrew Hobbs.
